  Tom Dougherty is a Real Estate Professional and is a licensed agent in South Carolina, but that is only part of the story.  Prior to switching to real estate sales, Tom spent 30+ years as an Executive Recruiter and as an owner of a search firm working for Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Tom’s combined knowledge of real estate marketing and negotiating contracts with major companies enables him to provide his clients with an exceptional level of professional service.

Tom built a home on the Isle of Palms and relocated here in 1989 just prior to the Hurricane Hugo.  Having experienced the devastation first hand he is well versed in what it takes to work with the housing authorities and agencies in the Charleston market.  Since selling his home in 2006 and becoming a resident of the Palm Cove Townhouse community he has been very active in the homeowners association and currently serves on the board of directors.

  Tom started his career with Keller Williams because he knew that as the fourth largest real estate firm in the US with over 80,000 agents nationally and with offices in all fifty states he wanted to take advantage of their national scope and resources. When asked why he decided to join Keller Williams, Tom stated that in addition to having one of the most extensive training programs available for their Agents, they provide state of the art technology and support systems that enable Keller Williams agents to better serve their clients.  Better service is what Tom has always prided himself in achieving; therefore, joining Keller Williams would enable him to bring it to the next level for his clients.
